the whole world's ranting about Kanye West's latest outburst at this year's Video music awards. fans cursed him under their skins and critics bared their fangs, ready to draw every ooze of blood from him.
i even heard a bunch of old men under the void deck discussing about the incident. the rap-like hokkien vulgarities used in their conversation would have been worthy of an MTV award.
but wait... while the whole world is united against West, i have to raise my thumbs and give kudos to the man himself.
West, a man who has been through s%#t to rise to fame, knows his stuff.
a young 19 year old girl had just made her mark. a top-selling singer who has electrified country pop. she was on her way up. but for how long will she be at the top? will people remember her few years down the road? will she join the ranks of those one-hit wonders?
Top dog West had foreseen all these problems. he was determined to let her stay in the books. ditto his publicity stunt at the awards. who could have pulled off such amazing marketing tricks? There's only one man. West.
The only swift the old men used to know runs on four wheels. The only west that relates to them is somewhere in jurong. Now the names of Kanye and Taylor remain in their mind. the man who has a penchant to do the wrong things at the right time strikes again.

Extravaganza in Capella
I received a phone call from a dear brother a few days back. he put me to shame when i realised i forgot his birthday.
it's 19th sept mind you. it's a date where heroes come to earth to save your little ass.
there will be a grand celebration at a posh hotel by the beach and im sure celebrities and politicians would kill to be invited.
i would have bet my last penny the likes of MJ and Elvis would have joined in too if "THE GATE" is not closing today.
i was invited and was promised to be chauffered in with wet latin babes serving me.
who could have resisted wet latin babes?
sad to say i could not make it to the event of the year. hopefully next year the event will still be in singapore.
